3.34 Flight Data Recorder Option Configuration
Follow this procedure to enable the optional GSD 41 Data Concentrator function which is required for
interfacing to an existing flight data recorder. Table 3-1 provides a list of the parameters output on the
ARINC 717 bus of the GSD 41.
NOTE
Parameters specified in Table 3-1 are contingent upon the current aircraft
wiring. Additional parameters are available for configuration.

IMPORTANT!
A separate approval is required for the installation of a Flight Data Recorder
system. This configuration option only allows the G1000 to interface to a
Flight Data Recorder system.
