formation for a selected VOR:

• Map of surrounding area

• Identiﬁer and Symbol

• Name

• Closest city

• General location

• Latitude/longitude (degrees/minutes or degrees/

minutes/seconds), MGRS or UTM/UPS

• Magnetic Variation in degrees

• Frequency in megahertz (MHz)

• Nearest airport (identiﬁer, symbol, bearing, dis-

tance)
