AUDIO PANEL SUPPLEMENT
FOR MOONEY M20M & M20R
This document highlights G1000 Audio Panel (GMA
1347) information specific to Mooney M20M and M20R
aircraft. It supersedes related information in the G1000
Audio Panel Pilot’s Guide.
NOTE: For a complete description of the
GMA 1347, refer to the Garmin G1000 Audio
Panel Pilot’s Guide.
HEADSET JACKS & KEYED ICS OPERATION
Mooney aircraft are equipped with four (4) stereo
headset jacks (pilot, copilot and two passengers).
Keyed ICS operation is not available on Mooney air
-
craft.
DISABLED FUNCTIONS
In factory-equipped Mooney aircraft the following au-
dio functions are disabled: AUX audio, TEL, COM3 MIC
and COM3 capability.
Pressing the function keys does not light the corre
-
sponding annunciator.
NOTE: The use of split COM (COM 1/2 key) is
not recommended in Mooney aircraft.
COCKPIT VOICE RECORDER (CVR)
Mooney aircraft are not factory-equipped with a cock-
pit voice recorder.
AIRCRAFT ENTERTAINMENT INPUTS
In Mooney aircraft entertainment channels MUSIC 1
and MUSIC 2 are connected together.
DUAL PANEL OPERATION
Mooney aircraft are not configured for dual audio pan-
el installations.

