PRIMARY FLIGHT DISPLAY
WORKING WITH MENUS
NOTE: Pressing a softkey does not display a menu
or sub-menu.
Much G1000 operation is accomplished using a menu
interface. The G1000 has a bezel-mounted dedicated
MENU key that displays a context-sensitive list of op-
tions when pressed. This option list allows the pilot to
access additional features or make setting changes specifi-
cally relating to the currently displayed window. There
is no all-encompassing menu. Some menus provide ac-
cess to additional sub-menus that are in turn used to view,
edit, select, and review options.
