GPS NAVIGATION
Auto Zoom
The automatic zoom feature automatically adjusts the map range from 2000 nm through each lower
range, stopping at 1.5 nm as the aircraft approaches the destination waypoint.
Enabling/disabling automatic zoom:
1) Press the
MENU
Key with the Navigation Map Page displayed. The cursor flashes on the ‘Map Setup’ option.
2) Press the
ENT
Key. The Map Setup Menu is displayed.
3) Select the ‘Map’ group.
4) Press the
ENT
Key.
5) Highlight the AUTO ZOOM’ field.
6) Select ‘On’ or ‘Off’.
7) Press the
FMS
Knob
to return to the Navigation Map Page.
Land Data
The Navigation Map can display background land data (roads, lakes, borders, etc). The background
land data can also be removed from the display (turned off).
Enabling/disabling land data:
1) Press the
MENU
Key with the Navigation Map Page displayed. The cursor flashes on the ‘Map Setup’ option.
2) Press the
ENT
Key. The Map Setup Menu is displayed.
3) Select the ‘Map’ group.
4) Press the
ENT
Key.
4) Highlight the ‘LAND DATA’ field.
5) Select ‘On’ or ‘Off.’.
6) Press the
FMS
Knob
to return to the Navigation Map Page.
