NAVIGATION RADIOS
Pressing NAV1, NAV2 or optional DME selects and
deselects the radio source and the annunciator
(Figure 6.2.4). Selected audio can be heard over the
headset and the speakers. All radio keys can be selected
individually or together.
When no further navigation radio audio is heard, the
amount of background noise is reduced by the
Master
Avionics Squelch (MASQ) feature.
