Cats and dogs are the most popular pets in our households.

Whether in the garden or in the living room, they are always wel-

come and loved. On the other hand there are areas that should

be kept pet free like pantries, sandpits or ponds. The Gardigo

Solar Cat and Dog Repellent is designed to drive pets away from

these areas by using an ultrasonic signal. An infrared motion de-

tector registers when an animal is in the vicinity and the ultra-

sound is switched on.

The extremely high pitched sound is initially perceived subcon-

sciously by the animal, but in the long run it will feel quite un-

comfortable with the sound and look for quieter whereabouts.

The animals do not feel dislodged and the sound is not doing

them any harm. The ultrasonic speaker should be mounted bet-

ween 10 and 30 cm above ground level. The device can be swit-

ched between “Sound Only” and “Sound with LED ﬂash” modes.
