The Tu-20 (military designation: Tu-95
Bear D) was the pinnacle of prop-
driven intercontinental bomber
technology during the 1950s. It
survives today as an export plane in
the air forces of some of the more well-
off third world countries and larger
corporations. Bear’s specialty used to
be delivering free fall nuclear bombs,
but it can still cause a great deal of
damage with plenty of 500 pounders.

The 747 is used by a long list of
civilian airlines and several
corporations. It is even more of a
sitting duck than the E-3, since it has
only a short range radar to warn of
incoming threats. It has none of the
sophisticated electronic
countermeasures or decoy systems of
a military plane.
