• Voiceovers Stop When Popup Closed. Voiceovers fade out quickly when
you exit the window announcing the project’s completion.
• Secret Project Movies. Toggles the movies that play when Secret Projects
are completed.
• Interludes. Toggles the story interludes.
• Map Animations. Toggles map animation.
• Sliding Window. Sliding menu windows don’t slide, they just pop.
• Sliding Scrollbars. Sliding scrollbars don’t slide, they just pop.
• Whole Unit Blinks. The whole active unit blinks, instead of just its status
bar.
MAP DISPLAY PREFERENCES
• Show Fog of War. Explored squares outside of your current sensor range
are dimmer than squares inside that range.
• Show Map Grid. The map grid is visible.
• Show Base Grid. A line is visible between your bases’ production radii and
unexploited terrain.
• Show Base Names. Base names are displayed below the base icons.
• Show Production with Base Names. Base names and current production
orders are displayed below base icons.
• Show Flattened Terrain. The map is not contoured to show elevation.
