Move Units With Orders Quickly. Units carrying out preset movement
orders are not animated when moving into each square on their route. They
quickly “jump” from square to square.
Move All Units Quickly. Units are not shown moving between squares—they
just appear in their next position.
Don’t Center On Units With Orders. The game does not recenter on units
carrying out multi-turn orders.
Zoom-To-Base Doesn’t Recenter Map. Allows you to open a base screen
when an event occurs, without centering your map on that base.
Detailed Main Menus. Toggles between long, detailed menus, and shorter
ones with fewer options.
Detailed Right-Click Menus. Toggles between a long, detailed : menu,
and a shorter one with fewer options.
Right-Click Pops Up Menus. Allows you to toggle the : menu on or off.
When this option is off, if you :, the cursor moves to the indicated loca-
tion. You can still get to the : menu by using s:.
AUTOMATION PREFERENCES
Air Units Can Return Home When Reach Limit of Fuel Range. Air units
who exhaust their outbound movement automatically return to the nearest
base on the next turn. This keeps you from forgetting about an air unit with
low fuel.
Automated Formers Can Plant Forests. Formers on “Auto” (see Terraform
Menu, p. 46) may plant forests.
Automated Formers Can Raise/Lower Terrain. Formers on “Auto” (see
Terraform Menu, p. 46) may raise or lower terrain.
Automated Formers Can Build Condensers, Boreholes, etc. . Formers on
“Auto” (see Terraform Menu, p. 46) may build these enhancements.
