entire faction, as well as loan payment income and a breakdown of all active
loans (including loan payments suspended due to vendetta; see Diplomatic
Contact, p. 127).
The Bases window, in the lower left corner of the screen, displays gross
income, expenses and net income (or deficit) for each base. L on a base to see
its facilities, facilities maintenance and total energy.
The Maintenance window lists each type of base facility that your faction has
currently built, showing the total number of such facilities and the total main-
tenance cost per turn for all facilities of that type. L on a facility to see which
bases possess that facility.
BASE OPERATIONS STATUS 4
This screen provides a detailed breakdown of how each of your faction’s bases
is currently engaged.
The large upper MFD displays the name, icon and current governor setting for
each of your bases. You can L on a base’s name to select that base, or double-
L to go directly to that base. You can also : a base’s name for a list of com-
mand options, including opening the Base Control Screen, centering the Main
Map on the base, changing production, hurrying the current build orders, or
changing the Governor settings. You can also change the Governor settings if
you L on the base icon. (See Bases, p. 58, for more on these options.)
If one base is selected, its location on the world map will be shown (lower
right corner).
