the large colored icon to see your own.
LABORATORIES STATUS 2
This screen displays a great
deal of information about
your current research project.
At the top of the screen is the
name of the technology being
researched, the average time between projects in years, and the estimated time
to complete the current project. Below that is the technology tree (see
Technology, p. 119), focused on the current research goal.
In the lower center of the screen, above the research screen icons, is the cur-
rent year, the cost of the current project in technology points (see Technology,
p. 119), the amount of technology points currently amassed towards that pro-
ject, and the tech points your faction accrues each turn.
The lower left corner of the screen is an MFD (multi-function display). L on
“Technology” for a list of technologies your faction has already acquired. L
on “Bases” for a list of all your bases, each with its technology output each
turn. You can L on a base to open its Base Control Screen.
The lower right corner of the screen is a series of bar graphs, each one dis-
playing how far you’ve progressed along each technology track.
