was founded April 1st, 1987.
Based in Fukuoka, Japan, it
employs over 12,000 people.
The company is very involved
in the enrichment of Kyushu’s
tourism and leisure resources.
J.R. Kyushu runs a fleet of
high-speed urban and intercity
trains, while proudly maintain-
ing the historic Hisatsu line as
