Multi Melee - Modem
To Host
To host a battle against another individual via modem
click on MELEE/MULTI MELEE/HOST/MODEM
from the Launch screen. The following screen will
appear with the prompt Waiting For Call… At this
point, you must wait for the opponent to connect via a
modem. Then after a connection is made, you can
configure the various options. See page 25 for details
about vehicle selection.
Before using the modem play option, you must set
your modem parameters. To do so, select Options
from the Launch Screen or press the Esc key, then
select Modem Settings from the Options menu.
To Join
To join a battle against another individual via
modem click on MELEE/MULTI
MELEE/JOIN/MODEM from the Launch
screen. The following Select Opponent
screen will appear.
Once a connection is made with the host,
you can configure the various options on the
Modem Melee Driver Entry Form. See page
25 for details about vehicle selection.
Before using the modem play option, you
must set your modem parameters. To do so,

press the Esc key, then select Modem
Settings from the Options menu.
Enter Game - Click here to enter the
game selected by the host.
Name - Displays the
name of the currently
selected opponent.
Enter Game - Click here to launch the selected game.
Local Driver - Enter your name here.
Area of Play - Click on the area in which you
want to do battle.
Dial # - Click here to connect
with the selected opponent via
modem.
New - Click here to
add a new opponent
to the phone list.
No. - Displays the phone
number of the opponent.
Local Driver - Enter your
name here.
