Remember that it’s not just you who’ll be using effective cover. Cops and SWAT teams are trained in the same way and will also be in cover so you’ve got to use your brain (if you don’t want to see it splattered over the floor).

The game also gives you an overall rating as you progress through the story. Three main ratings are available: Professional, Psycho and Career Criminal. If you progress by mostly shooting and killing, you’ll end up with a Psycho rating. Conversely, if you mostly threaten and neutralize, you’ll end up with a Professional rating.
