Instructions
1. Turn off filter/pump and block off water at BOTH the pool at filter/pump and pool return connections.
2. Disconnect pool return hose at pool connection.
3. To Install bypass kit:
a. Install the bypass valve assemble in the hose coming from the filter tank.
b. Attach any necessary hose to the “T” connector.
c. Connect solar heaters as seen in figure below. Secure hoses with hose clamps (included).
Note: Additional hoses may be needed to complete installation. Depending on size of the
hoses used, 1¼”-1½” hose reducers may be needed. See your local pool supply retailer
for additional components.
4. Unblock water, fully open BOTH bypass valves, and turn on filter/pump.
5. Adjust the bypass valves as needed to achieve desired flow. Listen for straining or restrictive sounds
from the pump, check for bulging hoses and/or leaking connections. Adjust valves as needed.
IMPORTANT: This kit is not intended for in ground pool installations. For in ground installations,
please contact a professional installer. GAME Bypass Kit 4555 is required.
