4. Alter the mounting location of the Antenna Panel with the aim of
improving the read range.
See Mounting the Antenna Panel (p 4).
Note: Once you have finished using the Configurator ensure you click
on the disconnect button in the Configurator program prior to
unplugging the cable. This ensures the data transmission returns to the
correct state.
Testing with live animals
1. Pass a small group of animals through the animal handler.
2. Did the SmartReader read all the tags?
- If yes, the SmartReader is operational.
- If no, contact your Gallagher representative for further information.
