Installing
the
USB
drivers
and
WIM
To
use
the
PWG-500
as
a
U
S
B
modem
for
your
PC,
you
need
to
install
the
drivers
for
the
device.
When
you
con-
nect
the
device
to
the
PC,
the
PC
detects
the
new
hard-
ware
and
starts
the
New
H
a
rd
ware
Found
Wizard
.
Follow
the
instructions
on
the
screen
to
loca
te
and
install
the
USB
drivers
for
the
PWG-50
0
on
the
PC.
The
USB
driver
files
can
be
fo
und
on
the
utility
CD
provided
in
your
package.
WIM
(Wireless
in
Motion)
is
an
application
that
helps
you
in
configuring
and
using
the
PWG-500.
The
utility
CD
con
t
ains
two
version
s
of
WIM,
one
for
your
PC
and
one
for
your
PDA
(
P
ocket
PC
only).
Select
the
appropriate version
of
WIM
from
the
utility
CD
and
double-clic
k
Setup.exe
.
Follow
the
instructions
on
the
screen
to
install
the
software.
Refer
to
you

PDA
documentatio
n
for
deta
ils
about
installing
software
on
your
PDA.
Upgrading
the
firmware
Yo
u
can
upgrade
the
firmware
of
the
PWG-
500
if
required,
from
the
PC
using
the
U
S
B
cable.
The
