VoIP sett ings
The VoIP settings are provided to set up the VoIP param- eters.
General settings
These se ttings provide the basic setup for VoIP mode.
Press
Menu/Select and select Settings , Vo I P , and Gen-
eral to configure these settings as foll ows:
• VoIP On/Off: enables o r disables V o IP m ode.
• St un Ser v er : specifies the Stun server for VoIP
mode. Key in the server nam e using the keyp a d. See
“E ntering text” on p a ge 23 .
• Speaker Volume: Adjusts the speaker volume in
VoI P m ode. Choose from Level 1 throu gh Level 10 .
• Microphone Volu me: Adju sts th e microphone vol -
ume in Vo IP mo de. Cho o se from Level 1 through
Leve l 10 .
• Preferred Codec: specifie s the codec to be used for
VoIP calls. Select from GSM , a Law , H Law , G726 ,
G729
, and G723.1 .
Call control
The call control options set up the call waiting, call bar- ring,
call forwarding, caller ID , D T MF, and p r efix dialin g op tion s for
the ph one. See “Call op tion s” on pag e 32 for details about
these options.
Profiles
Th e PWG-5 00 p r ovid es ten defau l t profiles for the VoI P mo de.
Select a profile and press Activate to make the selected
profile active. Pre ss Personali ze to change the profile settings.
Press Edit Profile Name to change the profile nam e .
