4. U SI NG THE PHONE BOOK
Th e phone b ook is an important component of the PWG-
500 fo r storing contact in form ation ab out your frien d s,
relatives, and colleagues. Th is eliminates the need for you to
m e morize important phon e num bers.
Note : T h e storage capacity o f the phone book dep ends on the
SIM card m emory.
Adding contacts
Th e phone bo ok feature en ables you to create new entries for
your conta c ts and edit thei r contac t informa-
tion. It also enables you to store a number from a missed or
received ca ll in your phone book.
Creating a new entry
1. Pr ess Menu/ Selec t and then select Phone Book ,
Add to add a new entry to the phone b ook.
2. Type the nam e of the new co ntact. See “En t ering t e xt ”
on p a ge 23.
3. Pr ess Menu/ Selec t to save the name.
4. Enter the phon e num ber of the new co ntact.
5. Pr ess Menu/ Selec t to save th e num ber.
Storing a number
To store a number from your received , missed, or dialed call
logs, do the following:
1. Sele ct the number you wa nt to store fro m th e call log
and press Menu/Select . See “Call logs” on
page 30 .
2. Sele ct Save from the options.
3. Key in the name o f the new contact and p r ess
Menu/Select .
