Caller ID
To enable the display of th e num ber when you receive
an incom i ng cal l , press Menu/Select and then select Set -
tings
, VoI P , Call Control , Caller Id , and Enable . T h e nu m - ber
is d i splayed on th e screen .
DTMF
Yo u can select DT MF (D ual T one Multi Frequency) for your
ou tg oing calls depend ing on the typ e of network being used
by th e recipient. To select D T MF options, press Menu/Select
and then select Settings , VoI P , Call Contro l , DTMF to
cho o se from one of the follo wing op tion s:
• Inb a nd: Select this option if the person you are
calling
uses only PSTN networks.
• Outband : Select this option if the person you are
calling
links to a VoIP server.
Prefix dialing
The prefix dial is a useful f eature if you dial numbers in an
international location fre quently. The prefix dial fun c -
tion memorizes the prefix required for dialing the calls
and append s them to all ou tgo i ng calls. Thu s you do no t need
to key in the prefix every time you make a ca ll.
To activate the prefix dia l , press Me nu/Select and then select
Set t in gs , Vo IP , Call Con t r o l , Prefix Dial , and Enable . Key in
the prefix and pre ss Menu/Se l ect to save the prefix.
