Call options
While a call is in progress, a number of additional options
are available. Press the Menu/Select key to view these
options.
Using the speaker phone
For handsfree operation, you can use the built-in speaker
to talk on the phone. Do one of the following to use the
speaker phone.
• Press the Clear/Delete (C) key to enable the
speaker phone. Press the key again to disable the
speaker phone.
• While talking on the phone, press Menu/Select and
then select Speaker On from the options. The
speaker is enabled. To disable the speaker phone,
either terminate the call or press Menu/Select and
Speaker Off.
Putting a call on hold
You may want to put a call on hold temporarily while
doing some work or attending to a second incoming or
outgoing call. To put a call on hold, do one of the follow-
ing:
• Press Menu/Select and select Hold.
• When you receive a second call, press the Send/
Answer key to attend to the new call. The first
call is automatically put on hold.
• Dial a call using the keypad. The first call is auto-
matically put on hold.
