Disconnect the Drive
AgreatfeatureofG-RAIDUSBisitsabilitytoconnectanddisconnectwhileyourcomputeris
running.Topreventfailuresand/ordataloss,itisimportanttofollowthestepsbelowwhen
disconnectingor“unmountingthedrivefromyourcomputer.
1. Beforepoweringdownanddisconnectingthedrive,unmountthesystembydraggingthe
G-RAIDUSBicontothetrashlocatedinthedock.Keyboard shortcut:Selectthedriveicon
andhitCommand+E.

2. Itissafetoremovethedrivefromyoursystemwhenthedriveiconisnolongerpresenton
yourdesktop.
3. TopoweroG-RAIDUSB,pressandholdtheOn/Opowerbuttonuntiltheunitshutsdown.
