ThefollowingtableexplainsthemeaningofeachcombinationofLEDsonthedrive.When both
LEDs are illuminated, the color turns lighter RED.

Theactivitylightwillglowwhenpowerisapplied.Itwillashbrighterasdatais
transferredtoorfromtheharddrive.
Intheeventofadiskdrivefailure,theREDdrivefailureLEDlocatedonthefrontpanelwill
illuminate.InRAID1mode-Iftheredlightashesoncepersecond,itindicatesthatthetopdrive
hasfailed;iftheredlightashesfourtimespersecond,itindicatesthatthebottomdrivehasfailed.
IfadrivefailureoccursinRAID0modethentheLEDinthefrontpanelturnsconstantRED.
• IfconguredinprotectedRAID1mode,allthedatastoredonthesystemwillbeintact.
• IfconguredinJBODmode,onlythedatainthebaddrivewillbelost;therestofthedata
willbeintact.
