Congure the RAID Mode for Windows
YoucaneasilycongureG-RAIDUSB’sRAIDmodewiththefollowingsteps.
Important Note: Changing the RAID level will erase all data on the drive. Be sure
all of the data and les you want to save are backed up to separate media.
1. LaunchtheG-TechnologyRAIDcongurationutility.Adialogwindowwillaskyouto
disconnectallotherexternalharddisksfromyourcomputer.Thisisimportanttoensurethat
theConguratordoesnotaectothereSATA,FireWireorUSBdevicesonyoursystem.
2. ClicktheContinuebutton.Awindowwillappeartellingyouthattheutilityissearchingfor
G-RAIDUSB.
3. OncetheutilityndsyourG-RAIDUSB,thefollowingwindowwillappear.Selectyour
desiredconguration:RAID1(Protected),RAID0(Performance)orJBOD.Thenclickthe
Congurebuttontocontinue.
4. Twowarningwindowswillappear,lettingyouknowthatthefollowingstepwilleraseall
yourdata.ClicktheOKandYesbuttonstocontinue.
