User Information according to §18.213 of FCC rules:
This device could interfere with other ultrasonic or radar devices working on the same
frequency range (290-310kHz ultrasonic or 24GHz radar), especially when using more than
one weather station at the same spot. This could lead to wrong measurement data of wind or
rain of the weather station.
In case of interference please try to place the devices at least 3m apart from each other.
If high emitting devices used next to the weather station, such as inductive ovens, the
distance probably needs to be larger.
Note: Do not use in areas where safety critical radar applications are installed!
For maintenance it is sufficient if the user is regularly cleaning the radar dome, gently
cleaning the ultrasonic transducers and checking if the fan and ultrasonic area is free from
obstacles.
Changes and modifications not expressly approved by manufacturer could void the user’s
authority to operate the equipment.
