UNPACKING DIRECTIONS
Congratulations on your purchase of a new Futura Spa.
Due to the size and weight of a spa it can be very easy
to damage the spa in the process of unpacking it.
Follow these steps to safely open your new Futura Spa.
1.Do not cut the black strapping that holds the spa to the pallet
until step 6.
2.Position the spa close to where you want it. The side that is down on the pallet
is the side where access is required to hook up the power.
3. Carefully remove the staples holding the white heat shrink packaging from the black plastic
bottom of the spa completely exposing the bottom. Roll the white plastic packaging
material up the side of the spa several inches exposing the spa side on the left, right and
top of the spa.
4. Place two pieces of scrap wood measuring approximately 2 x 4 x 12 inches long on the
ground one foot behind the pallet on each side of the spa. When you tip the spa down
these blocks will allow you to remove the pallet from the spa.
5. Tip the spa down. This will take at least 3 people with each person holding approximately
100 pounds of weight.
6. Once the spa has been tipped down, cut the black strapping holding the pallet on and
remove the pallet.
7. Remove the white plastic packaging material from the spa.
8. Slightly lift each of the two corners where you placed the scrap wooden blocks and slide
them out.
To access the electrical hook up location remove the six Phillips head screws in the side panel that
contains the “Access Point Here” sticker. Additional documentation is included inside the spa cabinet.
