For gasoline engine cars, the linkage must
have clearance because one servo controls the
engine carburetor and brake. Thus, there is a
noticeable time delay at both the forward and
brake sides. Sharp response comparable to that
of electric motor cars is obtained by reducing
this clearance at the transmitter side.
