3.4.7.3 Box terminal blocks
Main cable connec-
tions
Other than the 3RT1054 (55 kW/400 V/AC-3), that can optionally come with
the box terminal block 3RT1955-4G, the S6 to S12 contactors come with
busbar connection. For the direct connection of round cables or ribbon cable
box terminal blocks (as accessories) can be used for frame sizes S6 to S12.
Control power take off With the box terminal blocks for frame size S6 there is space to use the con-
trol power take off terminal 3TX7500-0A.
The box terminal blocks for S10/12 have per main cable connection also a
connection for control power take off..

3.4.7.4 EMC interference suppression module (3RT1916-1P..)
In the case of motors or various inductive loads, back-e.m.f (electromotive
force) is produced when disconnected. This can produce voltage peaks of up
to 4000 V with a frequency range of 1 kHz to 10 MHz and a rate of voltage
variation of 0.1 to 20 V/ns.
Capacitive coupling to various analog and digital signals makes suppression
necessary in the load circuit.
