Setting up an FWD account

•

You can set up an account for VoIP communication at the Web site (www.freeworlddialup.com;0;;;0;www.free

worlddialup.com). After you have entered all the required data you will receive an e-mail from the FWD mail system

containing your registration data.

You can make the required settings in your phone after you have successfully set up your account.

•

You can use a Web browser, Telnet or the hyperterminal and CLI commands to do this. You must enter the proxy

name, the domain name, your user name and a password here. You can also specify the name that is to be displayed

to other subscribers(nickname).

After successfully logging on to the SIP server you can call other subscribers who are also logged on to that server.

For this you only need to enter the subscriber’s user name (login name) and then press »#«.

To make calls to other subscribers over the Internet you first have to log on to a proxy server (with SIP server IP, do

main IP, user name and password); be sure to activate the stun function first before your first attempt at placing

calls.
