Priority (0-7):

CFI

The Canonical Format Indicator is always set to zero by Ethernet Switches. CFI is used to ensure the compatibility of Ethernet and Token

Ring networks. When an Ethernet interface receives a frame with a CFI value of “One”, that frame should not be forwarded to an unmarked

interface without any processing.

If you activate the VLAN option and enter values for VID, User Priority and CFI, all incoming packets that bear the IP address of the phone

and the same VID will be accepted. Packets that have the IP address of the phone but a different VID are rejected by the phone.

defines a user priority using eight different priority levels (2^3). IEEE 802.1P specifies the use of the three user priority bits. Normally, this

value is defined by your Service Provider.

SIP Settings

This menu item lets you set the Service Domain, make Codec settings, Codec ID settings and miscellaneous other settings. Follow your

provider’s instructions for these settings, as they are specific for each different provider. Configuration can only be completed via the »Web

Configurator«.

Administrator (Authentication)

You must log in with your password (factory default setting »24234880«) before you can make any SIP settings. Only after you have success

fully logged in can you make the following settings.
