Use and Care Manual

Care and Maintenance
Solid Surface has a nonporous surface that makes it resistant to stains, scratches and
discoloration. To maintain the condition of your new Solid Surface tub, simply wipe the
surface with a dry, soft cloth after each use. Most dirt and dust will wash off with clean,
warm water. For a more thorough cleaning, be sure to use a mild cleaner such as a gentle
dish soap. Avoid any products that contain abrasives, acids, or ammonia.
Silk Matte Finish
Clean your bath with a soft cloth and warm soapy water.
Stubborn marks and fine scratches may be removed with the Scotch-Brite pad.
Gently rub in small circular motions until the scratch is gone.
Dry with a towel
High Gloss Finish
To preserve the polished surface, clean your bath with a soft cloth and warm soapy
water.
Stubborn marks and fine scratches may be removed using 1500-2000 grit water paper.
Dry with a towel
Follow this by polishing with a car burnishing compound and soft cloth. Buff the
surface to a shine, using a buffing cloth or drill attachment. Repeat this process as
many times as necessary until the damaged area is blended with the tub’s finish.
Damage Prevention
Always run hot and cold water simultaneously into your basin. Hot water should not
exceed a maximum temperature of 140°F.
Do not use powders, pastes, crème cleaners, thinners or dry-cleaning fluids.
Deliver water (mixed hot and cold) to the lowest point of the basin which is at the
waste area
Avoid contact with strong chemicals and solvents (stain removers, nail varnish
removers, Etc)
Wipe away any chemical spillages. Example: hair dye, as soon as possible to avoid
potential staining.
When colored essential oils or bathbombs are used, first test that the color will not
stain your basin. If it does, a burnishing compound will remove it.
