Safety instructions 2 Safety instructions Intended use This device is used to receive audio signals that are wirelessly transmitted via Bluetooth. Use the device only as described in this user manual. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.
Safety instructions NOTICE! External power supply The device is powered by an external power supply. Before connecting the external power supply, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches the voltage rating of the device and that the AC outlet is protected by a residual cur‐ rent circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and pos‐ sibly the user.

To fully protect the device against vibration, dust and moisture during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable for transport or storage, respectively. Create all connections while the device is off. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for all connections.
Installation and starting up Pairing with Bluetooth devices 1. Press the operating button. ð The light ring flashes quickly. 2. The device is now visible to other Bluetooth devices under the name ‘BT-4.0’ and can be paired. If the other device is still working with a Bluetooth version older than 2.00, enter the password 0000 when prompted. For higher Bluetooth versions, no password is required. ð After successful pairing, the light ring is lit continuously.
