Working w ith the notebook
Removing and installing the battery
Only use batteries approved by Fujitsu for your notebook.
Never use force when fitting or removing a battery.
Make sure that no foreign bodies get into the battery connections.
Never s tore a battery for long periods in the discharged state. This
can m ake it impossible to recharge.

Remove the power plug fr
om the mains socket!
► Switch the device OFF.
The device must not be in pow er-saving mode!
► Close the L CD screen.
► Remove all the cables from the device.
► Turn the device over and place it on a stable, fl at and clean surface. If necessary, place
an anti-slip cloth on this surface to prevent the device from be ing scratched.

► Slide the locking device (1) in the direction of the arrow and hold it in place.
► Slide the locking device (2) in the direction of the arrow.
► Grasp the opening (b) and lift the ba ttery out o f the battery compartment
in the direction of the arrow (3).
