A mono processor entry model incorporating cutting-
edge technology, PRIMERGY RX100 S4 rack server has
been optimized for rack operation, offering the attributes
of high functionality and security at a competitive price.
This makes it an ideal platform for data-center solutions
and server farm concepts in 19-inch rack environments.
The versatile design enables its range of use to be extended
to work with a variety of applications, with areas typically
ranging from use as an infrastructure and connectivity server
or as a front-end server in multi-tier scenarios. Or even as a
terminal server with connected storage subsystems.

Designed with sufficient power reserves for small and me-
dium-sized applications with up to 8GB ECC protected
DDR2 SDRAM, PRIMERGY RX100 S4 also boasts high-
speed data transfer by means of an onboard dual Gbit
Ethernet LAN controller. And the standard iRMC (Inte-
grated Remote Management Controller) offers enhanced
system management, based on IPMI2.0 technology.
PRIMERGY RX100 S4 combines the benefits of reliable
SAS disk technology and the comfort of integrated RAID
data protection with a space-saving 1U form factor of less
than 60cm in depth. Such compact, flexible dimensions
facilitate integration into virtually any rack configuration.
