Indicator Description
Power-on indicator / Standby

Indicator is illuminated: The notebook is switched on.
Indicator ashes: The notebook is in standby mode.
Indicator is off: The notebook is switched off.

The state of charge of the ba
ttery is shown by the battery indicator.
1. With AC adapter connected
:
The indicator lights up orange: The battery is charging.
The indicator is off: Cha
rging is completed.
The indicator ashe s orange: The battery cannot be charged as the batte ry
is too hot or cold for charging. The charging process is c ontinued as soon
as the battery reaches a permissible temperature again.
2. Running on battery (wi
thout AC adapter):
The indicator is off: Battery level is 100-21%.
The indicator light
s up red: Battery level is 20-0%.
3. Battery abnormality/error:
The indicator ash
es red.

key has been pressed. The virtual numerical
keypad is activated. You can output the characters indicated on the upper right of
the keys.
Caps Lock indicator

Indicator is illuminated: The Caps Lock key has been pressed. All the ch aracters
you type will appe ar in upper case. In th e case of overlay ke ys, the character
printed on the upper left of the k ey will appear whe n that key is pressed.
