SCALABLE ARCHITECTURE
AMD Opteron™ processors of the 23xx/83xx as Quad-Core (QC) with
6MB TLC.
Two Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX630 S2 dual-socket server blades can be
coupled to one quad-socket server blade with 16 processor cores.
RAM
Up to 128 GB RAM with one quad-socket server blade with a total
of 16 slots for DDR2 DIMM modules. Support of ECC with memory
scrubbing and SDDC (ChipKill™).
Larger capacity and more powerful memory.
HARD DISK MODULES
Support of two 2.5 inch hot-plug SATA or SAS hard disk modules. The hard disk modules enable fast replacement of internal drives in
running operation.
SERVER MANAGEMENT
Server Management is implemented using the supplied ServerView
®
Suite. The software is used to manage all the PRIMERGY servers in the
network via a central console.
Sophisticated server management functions help to extend running
times, reducing operating costs and increasing productivity.
Intelligent system administration for very robust reliability.
Simplied and automated installation and initial operation of blade
servers.
LAN AVAILABILITY
The BX630 S2 dual-socket server blade has two Onboard Ethernet
LAN controllers each with two 1Gbit/s Ethernet channels. The
connection to the Ethernet LAN is via Switch Blades or Pass-Thru
Blades on the rear of the base unit.
Excellent LAN connection capacities without additional effort.
