3.2. Installing the Human sensor unit
(1) Insert the wire from the Human sensor unit into the deco-
ration panel.

(2) Attach the strap on the hook of the decoration panel.
Mount the Human sensor unit onto the decoration panel.

Attach the corner plate fi rmly in 5 places.
CAUTION
Be careful so that no wires or straps are caught between
the panels.
(3) Embed the Human sensor wire along the groove of the
decoration panel.
(4) Fix the Human sensor wire with cable ties (accessories,
3 places). Cut off the excess tips of the cable ties.

(5) Attach the insulation (accessories, 3 places). Fix fi rmly so
that there is no space under the insulation.

(6) When installing the decoration panel, be sure to insert the
Human sensor wire through the wiring hole of the indoor unit.

3.3. Removing the control box cover
(1) Loosen the screws.(2 places)
(2) The control box cover will open in the direction of the ar-
row.

3.4. Wiring method
(1) Connect the human sensor wire to the board in the con-
trol box.
(2) Attach wiring as shown in the following fi gure.

3.5. Replacing the control box cover
(1) Reverse the procedures in “3.3. Removing the control box
cover” to replace the control box cover.
4. CHECK
• After installation is complete, check if “Human sensor” is
displayed on the remote controller.
• Change the setting on the remote controller to “Enable”.
* The human sensor will not function until the remote con-
troller is set. For details on how to operate, refer to the
Operating manual of the remote controller.
