The flashupdate command
The flashupdate command updates both the service processor firmware and the
server firmware.
The flash image consists of the following components:
■ Service processor firmware
■ OpenBoot
■ POST
■ Reset/config
■ Sequencer
■ Partition description
Updating the Firmware
To use the features and fixes in subsequent firmware releases, perform “To Update
the Firmware” on page 62.
