Connecting external devices
HDMI port
HDMIport
Depending on the device version, your device may have an integral HDMI port.
The HDM I port of your notebook can be used to connect an external a m plifier,
LCD TV or a plasma TV with an HDMI connection.
► Connect the data cable to the
external device.
► Connect the data cable to the HDMI
port of the notebook.
Some LCD televisions h
ave only two loudspeaker connections and therefore
cannot reproduce Dolb
y digital or DTS. In order to reproduce th e sound, you
must go into Windows an
d adjust the sound setting s.
Proceed as follows:
► Select Startsymbol – (Settings) – Control Panel – Hardware and Sound – Sound.
► Mark Realtek HDMI Output.
► Select Properties – Supported formats.
► Deactivate the settings DTS audio and Dolby digital.
► Confirm the settings with OK.
