ld ensure that the electrical ground of the power utility, the
telephone lines an d t
he metallic wate r pipes are connected toge ther. Users should NOT
attempt to make such c
onnections themselves but should contact the app ropriate electric
inspection authori
ty or electrician. This may be particularly importan t in rural areas.
