Troubleshooting and tips
Device is not responding to the pen
Cause Troubleshooting
Application or system crashed Close the application or restart the Tablet PC by
switching it on/off or with a warm boot.
If the system responds to a keyboard but not to a
pen, contact your sales partner or hotline/help desk.
Speaker/headphone volume is too low
Cause Troubleshooting
Volume set incorrectly
Windows XP:
Make sure that the sound driver is correctly installed
under Control Panel - System - Device Manager.
Windows Vista:
Make sure that the sound driver is correctly installed
under Control Panel - System and Maintenance - Device
Manager.
Use the shortcut Fn + F3 to check if the
loudspeakers are switched off.
Double-click on the volume indicator in the task bar
and adjust the volume.
or
Use the shortcut Fn + F8 or Fn + F9 to check
the volume level.
Incorrect audio settings
Check the audio settings of the sound card or the
audio driver.
