Configuring the fingerprint sensor (optional)

Depending on the model, your Tablet PC may be equipped with a fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint

sensor can record an image of a fingerprint. This image can be processed using additional fingerprint

software and used instead of a password. The software for the fingerprint sensor is saved on the

hard disk in the directory C:\AddOn (Windows XP) or C:\Fujitsu Siemens Computers (Windows Vista) and

needs to be installed.

The fingerprint software can be found at C:\AddOn (Windows XP) or C:\Fujitsu Siemens Computers

(Windows Vista) or on the supplied CD.

► You must install the fingerprint software in order to be able to use the fingerprint sensor.
