Function description
Alt button
Alt
The Alt button performs two functions:
If you hold the Alt button down for two seconds,
you can log onto the system again:
– after system startup
– after a system lock
– when returning from energy-saving
mode
After log-on, pressing the Alt button for two
seconds launches the Windows Task Manager or
- in a network - opens the security window.
E-mail button
Internet button
Pressing the E-mail button, launches you e-mail
program (e.g. Microsoft Outlook Express).
Pressing the Fn + E-mail buttons at the same
time automatically launches the Web browser.
Before the buttons function as described, the
Internet connection must be set up and e-mail
retrieval from the server must be configured.
Orientation button
Display mode

When you press the Orientation button, the
orientation of the screen display changes from
portrait (vertical) to landscape (horizontal) or vice
versa.
Pressing the Fn and Orientation buttons at the
same time launches the advanced settings menu
for the screen controller. From that menu you can
choose the display mode you would like to use.
