Connecting e xtern a l devices
DisplayPort (cradle only)
DisplayPort
The D isplayPo rt of the cradle can be used to connect a display, LCD TV or a plasma TV with an
appropriate port. The screen output is limited to a maximum of two external scre ens at the same time.
► Con nect the data cable to the
external device.
► Con nect the data cable to the DisplayPort
of the cradle.
Some LCD televisions have only two loudspeaker connections and therefore
cannot reproduce Dolby Digital or DTS. In order to reproduce the sound, you
must go into Windows and adjust the sound settings.
► To do th is, deactivate the DTS Audio and Dolby Digital settings in the control
panel for th e Realtek HDMI Output.

the cra dle can be u sed to connect an external amplifier, LCD TV or a plasma TV with
an HDMI port. T

Some LCD televisions have only two loudspeaker ports and therefore
cannot reproduce Dolby Digital or DTS. To play back HDMI sound, you
must change the HDMI sound settings accordingly.
You can find the settings under Control Panel - H ardware and Sound. Deactivate the
settings for DT S Audio and Dolby D igital to enable p layba ck of HDMI sound.
