Connecting external devices
Under all circumstances, please observe the safety no tes provided in the
"
Important notes", Page 12 chapter before connecting or disconnecting
any devices to or from your Tablet PC.
Always read the documentation supp lied with the device you wish to conn ect.
Never connect or disconnect cables during a thunderstorm.
Never pull at a cable when disconnecting it. Always grasp the plug.
With some devices, such as USB devices, it is not necessary to switch off
the Tablet PC and the device before connecting/disconnecting. For more
information about wh ether or not devices need to be switched off, please refer
to the docum entation supplied with the external device.
Some of the external devices require special drivers (see the operating
system and external device documentation).
Connecting an external m onitor
Micro HDMI port
MicroHDMIport
The micro HDMI port of your device can be used to connect an external amplier,
LCD TV or a plasma TV with an HDMI connection.
Con nect the data cable to the
external device.
Con nect the data cable to the micro
HDMI port.
Some LCD televisions have only two loudspeaker ports and therefore
cannot reproduce Dolby Digital or DTS. To play back HDMI sound, you
must change the HDMI sound settings accordingly.
You can nd the settings under Control Panel - Hardware and Sound. Deactivate the
settings for DTS Audio and Dolby Digital to enable playba ck o f H DMI s ound.
