Error messages on the screen

This section de scribes the error messages generated by the BIOS Setup. Error messages displayed
by the operating system or programmes are described in the relevan t documentation.
If the error message appears repeatedly, despite troubleshooting measures, please
contact the place of purchase or our customer service centre.
Error message/cause Resolution
CMOS battery bad
If the error message occurs repeate dly, the
buffer battery in the Tablet PC is flat.

System CMOS checksum bad - default config uratio n
used
The system configuration information is
incorrect.
► Sw itch off the Tablet P
C.
► Sw itch on the Tablet PC.
► In the BIOS Setup,se
lect th e Exit menu.
► Se lect th e entry Load Setup Defaults.
► Select OK and press
the Enter key.
Extended memory f

button.
► Wait 3 - 5 seco nds and switch on the Tablet
PC again.
Keyboard error
If you are using a n external keyboard:
► C heck the connection and rebo ot the Tablet
PC.

► M ake sure that no key is pressed.
Operating system not found
► C heck in the BIOS Setup whether your hard
disk has been set co rrectly.

ure that the operating system is

Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to SETUP
