Working with the Tablet PC
Select display orientation (portrait or
landscape orientation)

You can choose to use either portrait or landscape orientation for the display, o r whether the
display orientation should automatically adapt to the orientation of the Tablet PC.
You can change these settings under Control Panel - Hardware and Sound
- Windows Mobility Center / Ro tate screen.
In the settings there are profiles saved for operation with different screen orientations.
These profi les have preset standard configurations that can be modified as desired.
These settings do not just affect the monitor settings on the tablet PC, but
also on any external monitors that may be connected.
Using fingers
You can execute certain commands by using your finger tip on the touchscreen of y our device.
Everything which you can select or activate using your finger tip can
also be selected or activated using the pen.
Calibrate the Dual Digitizer for finger-based
operation of t
he device
Via the operating system, you must calibrate your tablet PC before fi rst use with
your fingers, so that it detects your finger tips as accurately a s possible.
As soon as you ascertain that the accuracy is d eteriorating, you
must recalibrate the device.
Please not e: T here are separate calibration programs available for calibrating
the pen and for calibrating finger-based operation. Do not use the calibration
tool for the pen to calibrate finger-based operation.

To calibrate, call up the Hardware and Sound / Tablet PC Settings fu nction
in the Control Panel. You need to calibrate both portrait and lan dscape
formats.
