First-time setup of your d evice
Switching on the device for the fi rst time
Switchingonforthefirst time
When you switch on the device for the first time, the supplied software is
installed and configured. Because this pro cedure must not be interrupted ,
you should set aside enough time for it to be fully completed and connect
the device to the mains using the mains a dapter.
During the installation process, DO NOT restart the device unless
you are requested to do so!
To make it easier to use yo
ur device for the first time, the operating system
is pre-installed on the
hard disk.

► Press the ON/OFF button (1) for about one second to sw itch the device on.
The power-on indicator (2) lights up as long as the system is switched on.
► During insta llation, follow the instructions on screen.
