CMOS battery bad
If the error message occurs repeatedly, the
buffer battery in the Tablet PC is flat.
► Contact your sales outlet or our
customer
service centre.
System CMOS checksum bad - default configuration
used
The system configuration information is
incorrect.
► Switch off the Tablet PC.
► Switch on the Tablet PC.
► In the BIOS Setup, select t
he Exit menu.
► Select the entry Load Setup Defaults.
► Select OK and press the En
ter key.
Extended memory failed
at offset: xxxx Failing Bits:
zzzz zzzz
When testing the exte n
ded memory an error has

Failure Fixed Disk

The settings of th
e hard disk drive are incorrect.
► Start the BIOS Se tup (Primary Master
submenu) and select the correct sett ings.
Keyboard contro
ller error
► Switch off your Tablet PC with the ON/OFF
switch.
► Wait 3 - 5 s econds and switch on the Tablet
PC again.
Keyboard error
If you are using an e xternal keyboard:
► Check the connection and rebo ot the Tablet
PC.

► Make sure that no key is pressed.
Operating system not found
► Check in the BIOS Setup whether your hard
disk has been set co rrectly.
► Make sure t
hat the operating system is
installe
d on the corresponding drive.
Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to SE TUP
This error message appears if an error occurs
during the s elf-test before starting the operating
system.

key on the Tablet PC to boot
the operating system
